Cloris is a Jersey company with Colombian operations focused on the growth and the extraction of derivatives from native plants and non-psychoactive cannabis plants for the B2B market.
Cloris grows high-quality native/exotic botanical and cannabis plants, within a low-cost environment and with a sustainable production model. The Company implements processes for cannabis and essential oils, and their derivatives; targeting export to the highest-margin markets, including cosmetics, health & wellness; and home & care markets.
Since its initial incubation by the Royal Road Accelerator, Cloris has cultivated 14,000 non-psychoactive cannabis plants as part of an outdoor R&D pilot program in southwest Colombia. Conditions in the region are considered ideal for a large-scale growing operation.
Cloris' goal is to help communities and develop job alternatives in regions affected by conflict.

Juan Luis Rodriguez
Juan has over 15 years of experience in research, seed conservation, cultivation process, and productive projects in Colombia. He has pioneered the development of cannabis licenses in Colombia and participated in research on medicinal plant breeding. His work has resulted in the development of genetics typical of micro-climates found at a range of altitudes in Colombia. Juan has also worked with vulnerable communities, participating in the first consolidation process of the productive cannabis Sativa associations.
